When I've been around people for a while, I feel the need to close my eyes for a while, sometimes for as long as one minute or so. People must think that I'm weary for some reason, or that I'm a very religious man, for I tend to join my hand as in prayer. To make thinks odder, I'm an atheist and I don't think about anything religious at all while I do so: it just help me relaxing and connecting with my "inner self" if anything like this does ever exist.
I have never observed this behaviour in anybody else and if somebody does close their eyes for a while, they feel the urge to give an explanation, e.g. they are tired for this or that. I, on the other hand, will just reopen my eyes like nothing happened and say nothing.
Does anybody relate?
