We have to be clever, we adapt to our situations. Cleverness is our way out, how we are indirect, avoid the question at hand, hide who we are. If we weren't at least a little clever, life would be much harder.

I can do better than most of my peers; I would always end up in the top 10 in my class every year. Maybe the theory is correct...? :p

I've never thought that i was clever, im not completely stupid but school bored me so thats why i only did ok when i was there.

I do sometimes think that i think more rationally (spelt wrong?) than most. I'm quite good at problem solving and seeing things from many different points of view and working out the best way to go.

Well in my primary school days (Aged 4-11) I thought I was really clever but since then now I've realised I'm really not clever at all. Common sense is also a really big problem for me.

Well.. i have an IQ of 127.

I'd say we are more intelligent than average because of the very nature of this disorder.
Most of us probably fit into the description of the 'class geek' (i know i do) and are geeks clever? Yes, very. Are they sociable? Not so much. Because the fact that they know so much makes other people jealous, they start to get made fun of, on and on.. until you have the onset of Social Phobia. This is a trend i have noticed very often. I had one boy in my class, he had Social Phobia, but was very clever and intuitive.

There actually was an article in the paper few weeks ago, written by a scientist, that people with any phobia are relativly more intelligent.
