You sound like a total douche. No offense, but that is just the epitome of being a doucheyness, "I'm a musician girls, talk to me". Try asking who likes music and then say you're a musician when replying. It's more subtle and will work much better.

aw. haha. I guess it may sound like a pick up, but then again it could also be a completely innocent question I guess I found it a fun one to respond to! Anything music related makes me interested, and makes me happy! I guess if it isn't harming anyone, it's all good at least right? Plus, maybe here's a chance for me to find other girls that share an interest in music! I just can't seem to find other girls in my college town that are willing to jam with me.
