I was 14. Surprisingly, I kissed him first. He was a friend of mine, so I felt pretty comfortable, and he was joking about it for a bit. We recently saw each other, and he mentioned that he has not improved since then. I hope that I have...
And, since I was divorced last year, I haven't kissed anyone in some time (other than my son).
The best kisses were 4 years ago...I miss that guy...

Sweet sixteen. I'd been dodging him for over a month and a half while dating (hello, anxiety disorder!) sometimes in the most literal way. He leaned in once and I "tripped over a stick."

He knew about my GAD and didn't want to spook me so he was okay waiting (though we had never discussed it). Or so I thought. One lovely spring day we had just walked through the city park and were sitting on a bench resting. I was admiring a cute robin on the grass and suddenly he went in for the kill. :

It wasn't very pleasant. In fact I'd downright label it as slobbery. But I'll overlook that given how hard I made him work for it, haha.

This really did happen.
I remember that we were sitting and talking. I really wanted to kiss her, and looking back I guess she did, too.
We were being bothered by some little bugs of some sort, and she remarked about how they weren't leaving her alone. So, I mumbled something really clever like, "Probably 'cuz you taste so sweet...can I taste you, too?"
Our eyes met, our lips met....pretty much everything met after that.
Did I mention? - it was 1980, so we both had big, fluffy hair.
