Currently I'm not doing anything to treat it besides trying to make myself do the things I don't want to. I guess that's kind of self-administered CBT.

I'm just out of high school (no good money, no health insurance) so seeking professional help would mean telling my parents, which I am very reluctant to do. On top of that, they've got their own troubles lately (lawsuits, unemployment) and I'm not even sure anymore if they'd have the money or time to help me out with it.

If I ever do see a doctor, I'd try CBT first without meds. I'm against antidepressants on principle. I would only turn to them if nothing else worked, and my case got a lot worse.
