Found these article today about a new technology from Alma Lasers that seems very promising. They claim the treatment works on the underarms, hands and feet.

How is Sweatx different from the current options? bangkokpost.com
Before Sweatx, the most popular and effective non-surgical treatment options for hyperhidrosis were Miradry and Botox. Both of those give good results, however, this new technology takes the treatment of hyerhidrosis a step further by making up for the drawbacks in others. Botox is good for hyperhidrosis but it doesn’t treat body odour, while SweatX stops excessive sweating as well as getting rid of body odour. It offers immediate results, and unlike Miradry or Botox, Sweatx is painless and requires no anaesthesia. Results last approximately 6 to 9 months.

Their ads seems very professional.. almost like a movie trailers :D .. I don't know, did anybody ever tried these ? And it doesn't cure it forever ?

And I don't get it.. If they can target the sweat glands with heat.. how come they cant destroy them ? :s I'm gonna try contacting them, to see more details.

I believe treatments like this will significantly improve our condition & will improve the quality of our lives.
A non-invasive procedure that selectively targets the sweat glands on the hands & feet is probably the treatment we were looking for anyway. I'll try to get more details from them...specifically how long the dryness lasts.

I think the 6-9 month estimate is for the 'iTED' technology - which uses Botox. I think (not sure) that the SweatX treatment lasts much longer. But need to confirm it, the information is not very clear yet.

Nice find, however I tend not to get very excited about products like this. Have you noticed for every medical condition in the world, the medical community always push through and try to invent pills and products which CONTAIN the problem, rather than CURE it? This is because we as sufferers are a target audience for companys to make millions from... this isn't me being pessemistic, this is just the way it is.

I think if we really are going to find a cure for HH, we're going to have to find it ourselves!
