I have been taking St Johns Wort for the past 2 years and to be honest it has done nothing for me Im not sure if it is the St Johns Wort that makes me feel tired and confused or whether my SA has got worse and need prescription or something, i find after a days work i am exhausted and end up in bed in the afternoon.

Maybe you should stop taking it if it's not working, you'll only waste more money on it. St Johns Wort doesn't work for everyone and after 2 years with no improvement, that's a sign it's not doing anything for you. It's difficult to say what is causing your tiredness/confusion, maybe you should take a break from it and see the effects of that?

i tried st. johns wort several years ago and it didnt do anything to me at all. its a very weak herb. if you have panic attacks try valerian root. it can calm you, but acts as a tranquilizer and makes you sleepy. magnesium supplements can also help with anxiety.

I tried taking 5 or 6 medications and none of them worked. The only thing that has ever worked for my social anxiety was alcohol but I'm not sure if i want to drink the rest of my life and even if i was drinking all the time i don't see how i could work a job. I guess i just don't want to be an alcoholic. I enjoy drinking on the weekends, but making a career out of it seems like it wouldn't work out.

i tried this with no positive results, i did think that it made me confused at times, like i couldn't keep as much in my head as i should, but wasn't sure if this was just my imagination.
