I'm sorry to hear that. I know how it feels when you hear success stories and hope that product works for you, then you try it and it does nothing. It sucks.

Maybe you need to take it longer before noticing any effects? I hope something works for you.

After seeing the positive results from J4812, I started taking sage last week. I'll see if it works for me.

So this question is for OP, How bad was your HH?
Like would sweat literally pour to the floor if you didnt wipe it? And after taking your sage pills it just stoped completely? Do you sweat when your a nervous? how bad would you sweat if you are nervous. Is it like acceptable level or just pouring like crazy

thanks

Aww sorry to hear that its not working for you :( Maybe the sage extract would work better for you? I didn't like sage extract as much as the pill form, but everyone's different. I emailed a company called "Botanic Choice" and they said that their sage extract does not contain Thujone so maybe giving the extract a shot might help?

I was actually wondering the same thing when I first started taking the pills because the first week I took them I did not like the results. So, I emailed the company and asked if it would be safe to take more than one. They said that it is recommended that you only take one per day as it says on the bottle (although I feel like that's just so they can't get sued). I would say try giving the extract a shot. Lately I have been using a combination of the extract and the pill (I break the pill in half). I have actually been starting to like the extract better. Before, I was just really paranoid about the high thujone content that is usually in sage extract, but Botanic choice said that theirs does not contain thujone. Whatever sage extract you decide to choose just make sure you email the company to see if their product conatins thujone!

ya i looked at the botanic choice extract.. it just looks like a pain to have to take it 3x a day at 28 drops per serving.. i like the idea of just popping 2 pills in the morning lol.. or maybe 1 in the morning and one in the afternoon? idk

Before I started using natural remedies to cure my hyperhidrosis, I tried drionic, drysol, and hidrex. None of those products were effective in curing my hyperhidrosis. Then I started researching natural remedies. Sage worked really well! My sweating decreased substantially. Before, I would sweat from my hands, feet, back, armpits, and the back of my legs. After using sage for about 2 weeks, I hardly ever sweat. The only times that I sweat are when I'm under extreme stress or when it is extremely hot out. I was really impressed with the results so before trying any other medications, be sure to give natural remedies a good shot!

One thing about sage is it contains thujone which can be toxic to the brain and liver when taken in excess so be sure to buy a thujone-free sage supplement! I listed the one that I use on my blog below
J4812, I think I saw you posted somewhere that you stopped using sage because it's dangerous long-term. Do you know if it's bad to take it even if it's thujone-free?

Hi, Sorry for such a late response! but yeah, I stopped taking the sage a couple months ago because I was taking it in very large doses for a long period of time. I have been taking magnesium supplements daily. I just bought sage tea so I am going to start drinking the tea daily. I also use drysol or take robinol occasionally if I have a big event.

Over the years the Sage option shows up every now and again. Rarely does it help anyone.

Try some Antihydral combined with Odaban before bedtime. They are both topicals and I'm finding that they work amazing together for me... for now that is.

Hey J4812. Happy to hear of your success. I will look into the thujone-free sage suppliments. If you had that much success with sage alone just think what we could do by using parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme! Wonder if you could just roll it all up together and smoke it? LOL

Good luck on your continued dryness!

The supplement that I use only needs to be taken once a day. Most of other sage supplements that I have seen need to be taken about 3 times per day after every meal. I think the kind that I use is released slowly throughout the day. At first, I tried sage tea, but the tea wasn't very effective more me.

Hi,
In your first post you state that the supplement you take is listed on your Blog. I clicked on the links you provided and they took me to you blog, but nowhere did I see any supplements listed. You do name a product called Alvita. When I googled that what came up was the Alvita brand sage tea in tea bags. But no supplement that you take once a day.
Could you please just tell us which supplement you use that provided 2500 mg of thujone free sage in one single capsule?
Thank you

Sage is definitely the way to go, but J4812 is right - be careful not to take it for too long if it has thujone in it. I'm trying a pill now called DermiDry that has thujone free sage and its been working great for the past few months. I also use a few other herbs and teas. let me know if anyone's interested and I'll share them with you

Sage has helped me somewhat. I've taken sage regularly for about a month now and I have seen some improvement in the idle HH (sweating while doing nothing). It did not completely cure my HH but did make me a little bit more comfortable by helping with the sweating that normally occurs when I am inactive or just sitting at a computer.

This brand is thugone-free
