Re-starting iontophoresis

I have used an iontophoresis device for my hands and feet for about 10 months before stopping use. I would like to continue again (after a gap of about 2 months).

My question for all those who have stopped using the iontophoresis device for a few months: When starting up again, did you reverse back to a lower setting for the current? Or continued where you left off? I was using about 13 mA on my hands before I stopped - not sure if I should go down to 10 mA or continue at 13 mA. Anyone who has had experience with this, please let me know! Thanks!!!

I would imagine you start at a level that is comfortable for you without real discomfort.Did the machine work for you in the past? I would think after this time, you'd treat the machine like you were starting it from the beginning.
Hope that helps.

Just continue with the setting that worked for you when you was doing ionto, no need to lower the current unless it hurts or you get blisters. I use a quite high current setting and I have got just one small blister in 10 months.

Thank you for your replies! I stopped using it because it stopped working - I gradually noticed my hands/feet were beginning to become sweaty again.
I figured I'd take a break but now desperately need to start again as my hands/feet are horribly wet.
Thank you for your suggestions - I will try setting it to my previous setting and go from there! I just hope I see better results....
