'Progressive' HH

By this, I mean that it begins in one place, and slowly spreads to other areas of the body. Not in weeks or months, but years. Has anyone experienced this?

Mine began in the early teens in my hands, then to my armpits, feet, and more recently (within the last few months) to my back and ass! The latter is only noticeable at the gym (one of the few places I can sweat as much as I please from my pits and back), where there is actually patches on the back of my shorts.

Seems weird how it's spread from just my hands to most areas of my body.

My sweating seems to have spread to most areas and I'm now 50+. When temperatures dip down into the 70's, back, ass tend to stay dry. Arm pits are weird. I can go for stretches with very little sweating, other times the sweat comes out. Hands and feet are controlled with iontopheresis. I've learned to deal with it better once I got my hands and feet under control.

I started with facial hyperhydrosis then over the years got it on my back, crotch,
then hands, etc. In other words it has spread to almost my whole body. I still believe
that the facial hyperhydrosis is the worst to have because it's the most noticeable.

If people don't shake your hand or you wipe it off quickly you can mask palmar HH.
If you wear good shoes, socks, and such, you can mask HH on your feet.
If you wear clothes with certain fabrics and apply certain creams you can mask underarm and back HH for the most part.

But with facial HH, everyone is gonna see it, especially since people look at your face the most when talking to you or listening to you. I can live with sweaty hands, underarms, back, crotch, feet... but having a very sweaty face and forehead is a major bummer. You can't put socks on
your face, you can't hide your face in your pockets or under a table, you can't put loose, cool fabric on your face. You can wear
a baseball cap which helps a lot with the forehead, but the actual face will remain sweaty and impossible to conceal.
