Probiotic Hyperhidrosis Treatment

I know that I brought this up a few months ago, but does anyone take probiotics for hyperhidrosis? There has been a lot of studies that prove that probiotics significantly reduced anxiety. I have noticed that I am definitely less anxious when I take probiotics and I noticed a slight reduction in sweating. I wrote about my experience in my blog post here: Help With Hyperhidrosis: Probiotics. I have not used probiotics consistently enough so my goal is to use them everyday for a month straight and see if they help my sweating.

Does anyone else take probiotics? Have they had a significant effect on your hyperhidrosis?

Hyperhidrosis is a product of over active sweat glands.
Probiotics help increase the healthy bacteria in your intestines.

Your level of anxiety isn't controlled by bacteria. If you are in a stressful situation, your anxiety will increase and that will trigger your sweat glands to produce sweat. If you remain calm, reduce stress factors, or take medicine to reduce your stress, you will likely sweat less. However, with HH, you will sweat regardless of stress or heat level.

Probiotics and Hyperhidrosis have nothing to do with each other. The reduction of sweat (if any) that you see is likely a placebo effect.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but people with hyperhidrosis sweat excessively regardless of anxiety level or the temperature of their surroundings.

I know that even when I'm calm and cool, I sweat.

I'm not disputing the fact that stress/anxiety increases sweat production or that probiotics may or may not decrease anxiety.
I'm disputing the correlation between taking probiotics and a significant reduction in sweating for people with HH.

That's what I am trying to figure out: whether or not probiotics could help decrease sweating.

This person said probiotics cured their hyperhidrosis: WetHandsClub :: View topic - Supplements & Probiotics

And I also sweat regardless of the temperature or whether I am under stress, but stress and hot temperatures definitely make my sweating way worse. I have found that when I take probiotics, I feel less anxious and my sweating is reduced (but not completely cured). I am trying to determine if using probiotics long term will reduce sweating even more like the person described in the link above

Without any disproving evidence, it's not disputing it.

You could try taking probiotics yourself and see what effects they have on you. It's always best to try than to deny!

Did you read the scientific articles he provided? There isn't one mention of hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating in them, nor any inkling that it would help the condition or cure it. In fact, there isn't even the word "sweat" in those articles.

Why would I need disproving evidence when there isn't any evidence to show that probiotics have any effect on sweating to begin with?

***she

and I never claimed that those articles said that probiotics decreased sweating. You said that "anxiety isn't controlled by bacteria" so I was showing you articles that proved that probiotics do play a role in reducing anxiety.

I was just asking other members of this forum if they have used probiotics and if they noticed if it had any effect on their sweating because I have noticed a reduction in my sweating and anxiety. I am not trying to debate whether or not people "think" it will work. I am just trying to see what other people have experienced with different vitamins, antiperspirants, treatments, etc. The best way to find solutions for hyperhidrosis is discussing what has and hasn't worked for each one of us. I noticed decreased anxiety and sweating when taking probiotics so wanted to share that information to potentially help someone else if they try it and it works for them.

I find that PHENIBUT by a company called Liftmode can help with anxiety and slow down the sweating. This I can say I've tried and used and still use. Maybe this will help some of you?
