Hie yer hence from me heath!
This girl at the chemist did a "funny" smile at me, as she finished serving me. She lifted her head as she grinned, so that she was actually looking down at me with narrowed eyes. Does anyone know what that's about? Is it a sign of interest?
Not that i'd be able to do anything at all if she was interested...

The narrow eyes could mean she "knows" why ya made your purchase?
Then again, it could be a subtle hint that she's interested. :idontknow:

Don't take my word on that, though. As I'm more used to lassies eyeing me up, then doing this: :shyness: when I acknowledge them with a wee nod and say "Hullo". They'd respond in kind, of course...

Well, half-narrowed eyes (ie not squinting). Due to looking "downwards" & also smiling. It was almost a silly/playful grin.
She's grinned at me before too.
Mind you, i don't like the look of her 2-3 rings on her hands. Would that mean she's engaged, or what??? She seems way too young for that to be the case (seems to be in her late teens, but i could be wrong).

Why do bad things always happen to me? Is there really joy in making other people suffer and having them be as miserable you are? I guess there is, if yer narcissist with a violent temper... But enough about my mother. :giggle:

Oh, well now that you said that, she was probably just trying make you laugh. :)
At least that's how it seems to me. As for the rings, one of them could be an engagement ring, I guess? But then she could also look younger than she actually is?

You want to know how I got these scars?
I declined a work dinner drinks event. The celebration before hand is compulsory. Seems a bit like a dictatorship to me.

I hated those 'celebrations' that I had to attend whilst at work. I always declined invitations to after work 'get togethers'. I mean, I spent 8 hours a day working with those people. Why would I want to spend my own personal time with them?.. :idontknow:

That is exactly how I look at it Pug, 40 hours per week is long enough, and to be honest there are people at work I have no desire to spend my personal life with

It's always great when yer parent(s) or siblings project and accuse you of being a certain way, when it's them who's more prone to overreacting than you are. :kickingmyself: :eek:h:

Also that's entirely up to the webmaster, not Remus or myself. You could try messaging him about it but he seems content with it like it is...

iv seen this so many times its ridiculous . I think some people do this without even realizing it. I'd like to say intelligent people dont do this but strangely thats not always the case.

I think its good for someone to be more aware of their psyche so they dont project onto other people.

edit: I meant to say PROJECT not protect....but then again this kind of stuff generally falls on deaf ears anyway..*shrug* lol

In 1912 the RMS titanic struck an iceberg and sank to the bottom of the Atlantic's frigid waters. Before the ship sank below the waves the crew fired a series of white flare shots high onto the sky, hoping some other nearby ship would answer their calls of distress.

This is how I feel with every job application I submit. No matter how many college degrees or certifications I earn it feels like no company out there will ever give me the time of day. I feel discouraged but regardless I have to trudge through and submit online application after application. Hitting the "submit" button and entering my CV into what must be an ocean filled with other qualified candidates' applications makes me feel so depressed after doing it for this long and barely receiving any phone calls, but what choice do I have?
