So the other night I was standing in line at this outdoor ice cream place. It was just me and this woman standing in the cold wind.
So I said to her "Wow, it sure is cold out here."
To which she replied "it sure is, people will be yelling at me at the hospital tomorrow."
I have no idea what she meant by that but I just said "yeah"

If it's anything like my hospital experience, she could be implying the hospital where she works is a bit stingy when it comes to putting the central heating on? :idontknow:

Just like a jpeg, simply paste the image link into the "insert image" field. :)

Just another bog-standard boring-as-f*ck day
Add the cold and, yep, i'm just waiting for it to go away

I just had a flashback to when I ate scorpions in China.. Funny how the mind does that to ya..

PugofCrydee, did you ever come across anything like this in other countries?

its interesting to see how different cultures react to western culture. eating scorpions might be commonplace in certain parts of china but in america if people started eating bugs on a regular basis people would probably be freaking out . lol.

that being said, the weirdest thing iv ever eaten was alligator meat in charleston...I need to up my "weird food" game.

That's a good point, Graeme. I think I was supposed to ask her what she meant but I just wanted my ice cream lol

Better the devil you know
This is good! I know this woe!
The world still turns
As my loneliness burns
The future for me has no hope
All i can do is cope
I look forward to death
When i'll joyously take my last breath

Nothing to add
I'm still sad

Stop f**kin' dictating how ah should live my life. Ah don't tell you what, when and why to do something. So, I'd grateful appreciate if you didnae do it to me.

If boredom had no name, i wonder what we'd call it?
Without a name it would still surely exist, would it not, or is it an entirely made up feeling???
The saying is "you gotta name it to claim it", but acknowledging the state called boredom does NOTHING to alleviate it. Only ACTION helps, a bit, usually (or sometimes).
