not actually Fiona Apple
I wish my life had more easy decisions where I had to decide if I wanted ice cream or pie for dessert, and less hard ones like whether to say goodbye or not.

I'm glad puppies exist, that's for sure.

Ah understand how ye feel, Sarah. But ye shouldnae huv tae justify yer taste in music to anybuddy, really. Like what you like.

By that token, there must be summit wrong with me cuz like most of those bands you mentioned along with Aphex Twin, Michelle Branch, Gerry Rafferty and the Backstreet Boys. Aye, definitely f***in' weird. Cannae go from heavy metal, to techno, folk and pop... Naw! That's just no oan is it?

Oh, hold on there... Ye made a grammatical error with this sentence. You forgot to put the words "like" and "c***s" before and after the word "boring".

You're right, Graeme - we should just let our freak flag fly :p

Hahaha "cunt" is a good word. Very seldom did I use it before The Hound said it frequently on Game Of Thrones - it was like a "cunt" revival.

One good thing- or a silver lining, is perhaps a better way to phrase it, about an awful, fearful and suppressed childhood is that you get to re-experience the few things you did enjoy from childhood as an adult and have it be a freeing and almost euphoric experience. Almost as though you're reclaiming a tainted memory. It's oddly empowering.

A friend and I have recently been rewatching the first two seasons of Digimon in preparation of the new season. This used to be a show I adored as a kid, and apparently still do regardless of the many rough edges that it has. I've noticed that it has become the thing I look forward to most each week.

I am nostalgically excited about that, I might be doing the same if i have time. Digimon rules

 Visit Scotland, you'll hear frequently. Particularly in Glasgow. Seriously Glaswegian Scots make that word sound poetic. Also, in Scotland, "cunt" can be term of endearment as well as an insult. It a great word depending on the accent, in ma opinion. Never understood why wimmin hate it, though?

Ah know am no exactly doing tha Scottish tourism business any favours, here... :eek:mg: :giggle:

My first thought...

It's after 2am and I'm still awake... Shit! :kickingmyself: F***in' groin strain still hurt like f***! Could really use some morphine right aboot noo.

Second yin is a wee bit darker....

Wus Mum always this annoying, dumb, uncomprisingly control and hostile? If so, no wonder all her relationships with men were shite, and abusive. Not that she deserved the domestic abuse, just that, if she treated the men with whom she had relationships with, in the same way she has done with me. Mibbe she provoked it?

Ooh-kay... Not a popular opinion, ah know. But ye ken whit ah mean? Hopefully... Ah didnae come oot with this observation to piss off any wimmin or feminists on here. Or ye could be both, it's hard to tell nowadays, innit?

^ Sorry, this is just me realising ah've turned intae ma dad. Or a misogynistic cunt, which equally, sad, pathetic and ironic. Ah know, ma sense uh humour is shite.

I am in such a foul mood right now. Today's been a shit day, and the thoughts that keep invading my brain keep pissing me off. I try to kill them, but they're persistent. Can't hardly concentrate enough to do my coursework, and for the record, I'm resentful of school right now. Everything just HAS to be due all at the same time, on a weekend, and why oh why can't I just be DONE with it all for good?

Hopefully I find a job soon. I only have so much money, and the last thing I want to do when my lease is up is move in with my parents, in that shit town where there are little to no opportunities. I really don't want to be around my family these days, anyway -- too much drama and stress. The beginning of the year seems to be the worst time to be unemployed.

It's so tempting to take a Klonopin right now, because I feel like I could scream and I just want to calm down before I have an emotional and anxiety attack.

EDIT: Also, I have a suspicion that employers are leery to hire me because I'm in school, even though my classes are at night and I finish for good in March. Still, they probably think because of that, I won't be able to dedicate as much time to the job, or that I'll use homework as an excuse to not come into work, or something.

And lovely... I broke down and cried. What a ****ing miserable existence.

The first part of the new season is already out. 4 episodes (or 1 movie). I really enjoyed it, can't wait for the next 4 (out in April I think).

I'm going to wait until it's all done before diving into it, because I know it would kill me to wait. :X Though, the trailers look ridiculously good.

Alright. I think there are going to be 3 parts, the last one coming out late this year (probably). The problem is that the studio behind this is Toei, so both the 2nd and 3rd parts are likely to be delayed once or twice as we get closer to the release dates, so the last part might only come out next year.

One thing I really liked was the opening and the opening song, but I don't know how familiar you are with the original opening song. Most countries kept the song and translated the lyrics, but the English version had a completely different song. If that's the one you watched you probably won't enjoy it nearly as much as I did.

I'm actually rewatching season one and two in the original (subbed) Japanese with all music and footage intact. While the voice acting is alright in the English dubbed version, the dialogue changes are insufferable. They undercut tension and drama with cheesy one liners almost constantly - it's not great.

But yeah, as such, I've grown rather fond of the opening theme and the evolution theme.

6 years ago I started learning a musical instrument in case I would never be able to integrate society, so I could at least play music in the subway to buy food and survive without being a nuisance to anyone. I was thinking about it and I'm kind of proud that I actually took this plan B seriously enough to keep playing until now.

Have to admit. I've never heard anyone say that they took a musical instrument on the chance that someday they might have to play in the subway. That's a new one but awesome that you stuck with it:thumbup:

The thing about getting a warm winter day in the north east US is that you usually pay for it in some way, like it's warm but rainy or warm and windy. Today was very windy but so warm you didn't need a coat so I got a good walk in.
