Hie yer hence from me heath!
Ah no...Joan Rivers is on life support :(

I heard about this the other day. She stopped breathe while having surgery done on her vocal cords. Apparently, she's just recently been placed in medically-induced coma, I hope she'll be okay.

I loved the episode she did with Louis C.K. LoL didn't they sleep together?

I remember watching that particular episode of Louie. Didn't Louie just awkwardly try and makeout with Joan backstage, after a comedy gig doesn't go well for Louie, and she slaps him? Though, I can definitely recall the scene where Joan gives Louie this long speech about how to make it as comic. :giggle:

During my week-long vacation I took a muscle relaxant pill with water before lying in bed. The pill was to make me fall asleep fast. Unfortunately I laid down too soon. I started feeling nauseated and I was constantly burping - or rather, trying to. I don't know if you get this, but I often feel the air coming up and just stopping at my throat, unable to get through. I think it's because of my allergy that keeps all the snot down at the throat. Anyway, because of this I was feeling very sleepy to sit down but too nauseated to fall asleep. After 40 minutes I got even more nauseated and got up to go to the bathroom to sit down and play on the tablet, since I was sharing the room with someone and didn't want to disturb them. On the way there I got even more nauseated and felt like throwing up, so I rushed to the bathtub (I don't like throwing up in toilets) and bent over. I got all the physical symptoms you get when you're about to throw up. But at the moment where food gets past the throat and into your mouth, I just coughed. And then I got the throwing up feeling again, and coughed again. And then I was good to go.
I guess I vomited air.

I cannot believe I live in a house where my landlord comes and stays for two weeks out of the yr. It is so incredibly inconvenient!!!!

What? You mean he just moves right in with you?

How the heck is that legal?

Yeah I know it's nuts man!

It's in the lease.

I may just go live in the woods for two weeks, which aren't too far up the road so it's not all bad but yeah he moves in for two weeks! I don't want to be here!
He comes for bow hunting season. Does a lot of fishing too. He is a super nice guy but I don't want to share my place with him. Awkward.

I couldn't deal with that. I have to have my privacy. Hell, come on down to my place!

I went out to eat at a restaurant. I sat at the bar. I was all alone.. no people ever came to the bar the whole time I was there. Talk about depressing :alone:

I have ever been able to eat alone at big and busy places like Cracker Barrel.

It's hard to believe that back when I was a kid and they played a film on tv you would be seeing an actual film. Like a physical reel of film at 24 frames per second being played on a machine called a telecine.

It was all analog back then.

I've been looking at vintage broadcast equipment on YouTube. Lol.

Ever since I lost all of my friends ( and I did try to make new ones, but they seemed they were drawn to money and I wasn't one to shell money out and after all they didn't shell money out on me and I didn't want them to..That's using someone.) I have found myself going out places and sitting at the bar. I went out this past Wednesday and I drank 5 bourbon and cokes and I think I was just so down in the dumps is why I drank so much and just thinking and thinking. Then I took off to another place for about an hour and I walked in and a couple of guys wanted to buy me more drinks ( like I needed them). Then, this guy wanted me to go back to his hotel room.. I declined. I think that if I had actually done that.. I probably wouldn't have cared if that guy had killed me and put me out of my misery.. I know that's sad for me to say about that, but the way I have been feeling lately

Oh Lord, that sounds like sheer torture! If you leave and let him have the place he'll probably be wearing your panties around the house, but if you stay, it means awkward silences and loads of small talk. :idontknow: Not sure which is worse!

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one here who figures the absolute worst pervertness out of people..... so... have you ever caught anybody doing that?

LOL!

That is funny! I hide my under things :) I know what is out there :p

One time I cleaned out my under things drawer, which I rarely do and threw a bunch of stuff out that was worn, haha, and the next morning it was strewn across my yard and the neighbors-a bear had gotten in and ram-sacked the bag! Worse yet it was mostly on my neighbors lawn, an older single male-that was so funny and embarrassing!

Yeah, that is really sad... but I give you credit for being able to sit at a bar alone.

I have never done that and it's actually on the list in my head of things I want to do before this year is over.

Let me ask you this, if you go to a bar and just order a drink, is it customary to tip the bartender or no? If so, how much?

The only times I've sat at a bar and drank I was either eating food also or I was in a group and I didn't pay.

Now I'm thinking about the bottle of whiskey I got here and the Coke in the fridge!
