I was so grateful for my life. I had a job finally. I was dealing with shit. I loved where I worked. I loved going to work. I was about to buy a car and go to school. Then I lose my job.

It's all my fault.

It's all my fault!

Maybe I'm being a bit juvenile, but I love accents and foreign languages, and yesterday a French couple came in to work. They spoke virtually no English, and were having trouble describing what they wanted so the man pointed to the pastry counter and said, "pain... chocolat" and a couple other French words I can't remember. Naturally I enjoyed hearing the words.

My coworker has a very thick Eastern European accent (I think she's Bulgarian but not positive) and I love it.

Nothin' juvenile about that. In this dismal world, you have to find what joy you can wherever you can find it. Love what you love, Opal.

No' as well as ah'd like, but y'know... Depression, self-doubt and general c*ntiness, dourness and negativity fae ma family. But that's whole other therapy session.

Ah huv'nae really bin up tae much, aside from startin' ma ain journal on here earlier this year - which wuz terrifyin'. And, eh, tryin' tae fin 'n' maintain ma cheery f**kin' disposition. Ah know the swearin' was'nae necessary there, but rhymically it works, so, fill-in the blank _____ you! ::p: At least ma sense uh humour's still in tact.

(Sorry if ye didnae understand aw that. Ah've kinda gotten to use tae writin' in ma Scots dialect, English is like a 2nd language tae me noo) :sarcastic:

I wonder if you will love my accent?

I once did a quick check in the workshop. Between the 15 people working there we spoke 8 different mother languages, and knew in total 22 languages.

I went to Lowe's today to get some stuff for repairs on the house. A guy I have seen working there many times has tried talking to me but he wouldn't because my mom would be along with me. Well.. today he comes up to me when I am alone and he starts desperately begging for me to be his girlfriend. I don't even know anything about him, but from my perspective right now I assume he just escaped the looney bin.. Is this the new way to find a potential girlfriend now? I think I need to move away from this crazy chaos. :eek:mg:

I got an interview to work somewhere which is an hour away. I have no income and have to ask for money for gas. I have a child and no babysitter. Hoping I get a call for a night shift job before the week ends. I don't know what to do.
