Don't run away so fast! We will miss all of your advice and you seem to have an amazing life we all really want to hear about it! You're in a great relationship and will be going to tropical destinations!!!-any of us can only dream for such a life as that. Most of us never even have had a bf/gf.

Welcome to the family! We need more intelligent and successful people such as yourself here! Maybe we can do a vote like a popularity contest but more like who has the best life and I bet you'd win!

Why did you never say anything till now we can only wonder...how could you keep all that quiet!

*Catches strangeness, puts next to weirdness for very interesting day*

Now you've got the perfect ingredients for a surprise birthday birthday cake. You won't know what it might do. It might explode, create a dimensional portal, sing a lovely rendition of 'Tomorrow'.. it would be a riot.

Community is getting a sixth season. Life throws you a bone sometimes.

Sounds like you've found a perfect reason to bake that cake! :bigsmile:

I hung out with a bunch of new people last night.
I was fine in the moment,but today I'm feeling insanely anxious about it.
Not even over anything specific.

How dumb.

I bought two bottles of water (1.5L each) and my mum is pressuring me to tell her why.
It's just two freaking bottles of water, do I need a reason? I hate control freaks.

I've bought the entirety of Battlestar Galactica twice now. I recently bought the complete DVD boxset, but I forgot that I actually already had bought it over on iTunes like a year ago.

Oh well, I'm not too big on iTunes anyway. In some ways I consider this little mishap a clean break from that platform. Now there's no reason to ever go there again.

someone said "hi" to me here and i said "hi" back,and i think because i didn't add a smiley,they went offline.

Don't put too much thought behind it.

Unless you're particularly rude, it's not your responsibility how others perceive your intent. It may be harsh, but if someone got a negative vibe from a harmless message that merely lacked overbearing friendliness (which can be scary to some in and of itself,) then that's not your fault.

Don't blame yourself for the fear of others. It's an unbeatable battle. You're as little to blame for their fears and subsequent reactions, as they are for yours.

I wish our dog lucy would stop peeing in the house. This morning she peed on my carpet and just a few moments ago she peed on my parents bed. It's starting to get very frustrating!! >.<

I don't like taking melatonin because I don't like the idea of putting hormones - synthetic or otherwise - into my body. But once in a great while I'll take it to help me sleep when I'm really struggling or need to go to bed earlier and am not sleepy.

I find when I take melatonin, that there are three possible reactions:

- I slip peacefully off to dreamland and wake up refreshed;

- I slip peacefully off to dreamland, only to wake up again and again throughout the night, as if I'm sleeping fitfully;

- I slip peacefully off to dreamland only to be jolted awake by a feeling of fear that seems to match the description of a "night terror" but doesn't include paralysis.

I don't know what determines the reaction I'm going to have on any given occasion that I take melatonin. Last night I experienced the second reaction. I took it again tonight because... well, it's been a miserable day and I don't feel like I can sleep right now, but I WANT to. I hope that tonight I don't wake up before I'm supposed to.

My dog's getting older, so if I don't walk her every few hours she'll do that too. She falls asleep and doesn't realize she "went". I've had to wash my comforter twice this week... I used to only do that the night before Christmas.

Melatonin gives me really weird vivid dreams. It made my mom really weird too. Not being able to sleep is so hard though! I hate insomnia. Hope you got a good nights rest.

I take Simply Sleep, an OTC sleep aid that works for me and doesn't make me feel like I'm underwater the whole next day, like Unisom does.

Unisom also gave me pretty scary "sleep zaps" at times, of course this was after I took 3 or 4 of them (max strength) out of frustration, and then only after I was sure it wouldn't send me off to the BIG SLEEP by looking up dosages online.

I never had any success with Melatonin or even Ambien. I also have to be very careful about my caffeine intake after about 4pm.
