Why do I dream of him? I doubt he even remembers me, but he's visiting me in the dreams. No, he's not visiting. Those are just wishful thinking dreams... but even when I don't think of him they happen. I don't understand.

Feeling kinda alright to be honest. though when I wet facebok to see some pics of some friends, i felt stressed. Seeing people having good time makes me feel bad.these people have a nice social life whilst I dont. im sure im not the only one who feel this

I've just finished Skyward Sword. I'm really glad the next instalment won't use the Wii Remote. It harmed the game quite significantly in quite a number of places.

I'm seriously considering joining the Navy.

My sister was all but accepted into the Airforce about a year ago but she decided on going to culinary arts school. Now she is almost 100% positive she wants to enlist in the Navy, and I think I'm going to join her. I'm worried about school and my future, and while the Navy is of course difficult, I think it will be good for me.

I'll probably be heading over to a recruitment center within the next few days. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. Plus I've heard countless horror stories about women in the Navy, but you're always going to hear bad things from people who didn't like their experience of something. We'll see I suppose.

A little early to be saying "Happy New Year" in the States right now, but eh, I feel like it.

Thought you had some ‘respiratory’ career planned out.

@opa why do you want to join the navy?

Thought you had some ‘respiratory’ career planned out.

I did but I recently realized some financial things that might be a problem in obtaining my degree. If I join the Navy I will have my education paid for (I can't get any student loans now because of late payments on a previous one) and the experience of the Navy. Not to mention a good network of people, friends, getting in physical shape, etc. Obviously it isn't fun and games, but I think it might be a good idea.

A few heartships and struggles (within a controlled, structured but not enabling environment) might turn out to be a positive push. If you feel you can do it, and are sure of it, go for it. It's a brave step.

I had just tried karaoke solo in a bar tonight. I feel so proud :D
Shaky and sick at the beginning, confident in the end:)

Awesome! I've never tried it but if I did I imagine it would go about the same - except instead of "confident" it would be "booed off stage and banned from the venue"

1hr 15mins till 2013. I'm actually looking forward to the new year, which is odd because normally I couldn't care less. Tomorrow, while everyone else is hungover, I'm going to go for an endless walk and take dozens of photos on my new camera :)

Edit: if I can be bothered xD

:) Sounds like a small adventure. I would would love to see your photography.

Just 60 minutes from midnight. The future is approaching.

 Happy new years, Puma.

Well, Opa whatever choice you make hope it works out.

Well, this year's Birthday was certainly better than last year's... I actually had a present and card from one family member and two others posted messages on FaceBook... Last year I had nothing at all from any of my family, only from my husband and his grandmother... And I spent quite a bit of time crying because "nobody even bothers to think of me". Not so this year... I had fun listening to a live Sabaton album and watching an Arena concert DVD, so I've actually had a fairly good day! ^_^

And now, despite the fact I'm 45 minutes early, I shall wish all of SPA a very Happy New Year! ^_^

A friend of mine joined the Navy, and I haven't heard from her in a very long time. I hope she's doing okay.

I would never, ever join the defence force, but that's just me. If you want to do it, then go for it.

Well done! That's quite an achievement.

Who's SPA? ::p: Glad to hear your birthday was good, though.

New York will celebrate their new year in 5 minutes. I wanted to watch the fireworks on TV or something, but no station is televising it. I guess I'll just wait for the various YouTube videos to appear.

^Happy new year everybody! I saw the ball drop and couples kissing at NYC, on tv of course. I hugged my parents and wished them a happy new year.
