Yeah, but the thing is coyote it's not really about any of that - what I was trying to say last night before the waffle got removed was that there is an implicit illustration of human nature. An attractive person will get more comments than someone who is average looking - which just proves that we favour some over others. Is this bad? No - not necessarily. Is it true? Yes of course it is.

Apparently it's cruel to point this out.

I'm always consious, but thought why not. I think if you don't mind posting your pic then why not. Like others have said it puts a face to the posts etc. I am curious about a few of the members who don't have pics on here on what they look, but hey its their choice

It's cruel to point it out when a few pages before you said it someone had posted saying they were upset because people ignored their picture. You pointing out that unattractive people get ignored most probably made them feel bad.

Everyone knows that beautiful people get attention but i wasn't talking about in general, i was talking about that thread and how people can easily miss people's pictures. You said you didn't agree with that and that it would be impossible to miss somebody's picture hence nobody commented because they're not attractive. That's not helpful.

I think bigger personalities get more comments, more established members get more comments. Kia your pictures get about 5 pages of comments, why do you think that is?

I've never posted my picture up there, but only because it seemed like an exposure therapy type of thread. I'm not worried about my looks. There are uglier people than me who date beautiful women and have happy lives. This doesn't mean I'm pretty. It just means that if I'm single it's entirely down to my personality.

Registered members can view my photos on my profile and anyone that wants to know me better can find my photos easily.

I'll post a picture just to show my support for the thread I guess.

How? I would like to do that but I was under the impression you could only do that for your personal albums, not photos posted in threads.

if you upload photos into your secure personal albums, then post the link to those photos in the forum, only members will be able to see them

As for the Post Your Picture Thread, maybe there should be a forum rule that no one is allowed to comment on how people look, the thread is simply there to let curious members know what you look like and you can keep your judgements in your own head.
