Woop! We all saw cartoons as children! Maybe some of us still do! Maybe we only see sometimes what we saw as children for the nostalgia... So, I figured, why not making a positive thread about it? Post your cartoons you loved as a child, that gave you time of happiness!! Post either a clip or entire episode through YouTube, or even a pic; 'tis all fair game.

As a child, I saw many cartoons (I wanna make cartoons for a living too!) but one of me faves was Captain N: The Game Master. About a teenager from the 80s who gets to interact with (somewhat butchered versions of) his games' characters.

Oh man! Beast Wars, TMNT, Courage, Bravestarr! I loved all of those, I still do! BW's animation might've not aged well but DARN it's pretty well-written...

Also love Beast Wars, TMNT, and Courage! Some other favourites: Dino-Riders, Gargoyles... can't think of others right now.

I used to love all those terribly dubbed anime shows. Medabots, Beyblade, Pokemon, Digimon, ect. It's a shame that they don't endure the test of time.. I recently rewatched both Digimon and Medabots and it was a painful experience. Though, I'm fairly convinced that most of it is to blame to the cheesy dubs.

I also remember really liking; Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, I am Weasel, Tom and Jerry, Swat Cats, The Loony Tunes and Sonic SatAM.

Currently I still enjoy Avatar: The Last Airbender, Avatar: The Legend of Korra, and Friendship is Magic.

Probably, I saw an episode of Digimon Adventure 01 (aka Season 1), and it was still rad, but we had a pretty boss dub:

Could be. I know the Dutch dub (which I initially watched when I was a kid) was translated using the English dub. Which contains a hurricane of cheesy jokes that were shoehorned in there in the worst possible of moments. I found it literally painful to listen to sometimes. :X

Which is sad because it really cheapens the dialogue. I wonder how much better the dialogue would've been if they didn't mess with it so much..

I'm not sure how the Latin dub went down. If they translated directly from the original voice overs and not via the English dub, it might have had a chance.
