not actually Fiona Apple
When I was younger, whenever I ate spaghetti out of a can I would need two forks - one to get the spaghetti out, and another to eat it with. I didn't like the unheated sauce on my fork, it disgusted me

Heh, I feel that way sometimes when I heat up a frozen dinner. If there are potatoes or something I have to stir when they aren't fully cooked yet, I feel grossed out licking them off my fork because they're cold and chalky.

I cannot resist talking to my pets and other animals in some sort of baby voice. I just turn into a completely different person around animals and I'm not even self-conscious about it. ::p:
Haha, I think heaps of people do that. I even do that with my cat. "Sagieeee who's a goooood little kitty? You are! You're a good little cat. Come here, girl!"

I find the prime minister of Australia attractive....

for some reason.
I think you should come over, woo her off her feet, and then take her job. ;)

i think she's attractive, too

but, i'm a sucker for redheads
Well, guys, enjoy her on your TV screens while you can. I don't think she'll win the next election. She's been okay as a Prime Minister, though.

Same for me with avocados. What was I thinking?
Mine was even more recent with avocados! I usually use it as a substitute for butter or margarine, but I don't mind eating chunks of it now, as long as it's with other things. ::p:

^ LOL yeah. What's up with animals making us talk like that? Clearly it has to be them manipulating us or something because I can never resist.

I got out of the car once I came home today and my dog comes up squeaking (it's a high pitched whine and it sounds like squeaking; it's quite adorable) to me as usual, so I had to pet her and ask how her day was. I'm assuming it was good, she never shut up until I got in the house. ::p:

The first thing I got from this world was a knife in the back (was born via a cesarean, and the doc sliced open my back... still got the scar three decades later).

I'm at 9 days of sobriety, and normally I need alcohol to initially get out the house. I'm okay going out in public with someone to hold my hand...hahaha
But by myself I use the following strategies:
- dark glasses (I take them off when I talk to someone I know)
- earphones (my own music, my own world)
- belt bag across my chest, or jacket (wall)
- something in my hand, bottle of water etc (another wall)

- shaolin monk haircut (The front half wasn't completely bald, I used to have it short and have cut it recently. Baby steps towards tearing my walls down!)

*My first ever forum site register thingy, first ever posted thread. My apologies to the perfectionists if I have done it wrong, I hope to get better.

Fret not, you're doing it exactly right. ;) You also seem to have a good way with redirection some of the anxiety. That's inspiring stuff. :3
