Poem: "Why can' t i forget?!"

"WHY CAN' T I FORGET?"

WHY CAN' T I FORGET?
WHY CAN' T I FORGIVE?
WHY DO I KEEP HAVING
THOSE THOUGHTS OF DISPAIR?

AFTER SO MANY YEARS
MY HEART IS STILL CLOSED
TO LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP
THOUGH I' M NEEDING IT MOST.

I NEED TO HOLD SOMEONE,
AND FEEL THAT I ' M FREE,
LET MY HEART LEAVE ITS PRISON,
LET IT KNOW HOW I FEEL.

AFTER YEARS OF SILENCE
I DO NEED TO SAY "STOP"!
TO THOSE THOUGHTS THAT DESTROYED ME
AND DO NOT LET ME TALK!.

I KNOW I' M NO LONGER A KID,
BUT I STILL HAVE THE TIME
TO MAKE UP MY MIND
AND FORGET AND FORGIVE.
FOR ONLY THAT WAY,
I WILL FINALLY REACH
THE PEACE THAT ONE DAY
I LOST IN THE MIST.

Ooh, I like it a lot. Great poem again Johueg. :D

My favourite part was

and the last verse. :D

i really like it too :) i identify most with this part:
