personality disorder

Normally the peolple that have a SA,have an other problems as depression,general anxiety disorder,etc...
My psichiatrist has diagnosed schizoid personality disorder.Do you have some personality disorder?

If I have one, it's avoidant or schizotypal. Interesting you were diagnosed with schizoid personality. Do you think you have it? If you do, it's pretty lucky to have alongside social phobia. I have to say, I don't consider schizoid personality a disorder though. I think it's just extreme introversion.

I haven't been diagnosed, but the description for avoidant personality disorder fits me to a T-- better than the description of social phobia does, even. It makes sense-- my avoidance of people etc. fells more like it's 'who I am' than it feels like 'a disorder I have'-- though looking at how if affects my life, it's most definitely a disorder or dysfunction! 8O
