Percutaneous Sympathectomy???

So I know this is probably already another thread but it's worth bringing up again. I've come across this Percutaneious Sympathectomy which claims to cure sweaty palms in only 20 minutes with injections of Phenol givin through two needles in the back which go in to the nerves.

This is similiar to ETS but claims to not have many of the same side effects. Also if you type in hyperhidrosis under wikipedia and read the treatment section it says this procedure is more conservative and temporary. But the Dr. doing this procedure in belgium says that it's permanent. So what do you guys think? Is it permanent or temporary?

Also are the same side effects of ETS present?

Here's the article: http://www.rsna.org/rsna/media/pr2005/CT-guided_injection.cfm

I'm wondering why since this was written in 2005 that this procedure has not been brought to the USA? This sounds better and more affordable than ETS even though is still carries risks. Is this better than ETS?
