Look.... I've had panic attacks, social anxiety, nervousness, isolation and alcohol addiction pretty much my whole life......people are ignorant about these issues and could care less about it....the only people that understand us is people who have gone through it like us, doctors and maybe are closest friends or family members. You guys and gals need to not isolate and go out and shake if you have to...WHO CARES...you have to experience it to get better at it ( I mean it took me a while but I shook in AA meetings, public, etc.). MEDICATION IS NOT THE ANSWER UNLESS ITS JUST AN ANTIDEPRESSANT!!!!!!!! THE REST WILL RUIN YOUR HEALTH. I have successfully have no more panic attacks.............I just have minor social anxiety and nervousness. Excercise, not isolating, eating healthy, no lcohol or drugs, and last but not least AA's 12 steps and my sponsor i think is the most helpful......the AA steps reconcile your past...even though im just at step 4...ITS WORKING!!!!! Dont let peoples judgement or opinions stand in front of your success. Anyone want to contact me for any kind of support or whatever, just send me a message on here first and then email me. [email protected].............................I would love your reaction, thoughts , opinions and support. It feels good to be knowing that ive gotten a whole lot better...............

untill its widely recognised by the majority of society its going to be this way...most people have heard of generalised anxiety, but i feel people just think its something nervy people get around certain times like exams, interviews etc and not realise SA is getting anxiety around very irrational things too, and that its quite debilitating...most people arn't aware of this problem. Not even many GP's ive been to. Its not one of the "popular" disorders like depression, ADD, autisim, or even toretts syndrom so it doesnt get studied enough or made aware of in the media much.
