hi hollie...do you know someone you can arrive with? that always helps me..not to walk in alone..and i always arrive early, so i don't walk into a crowd of people..and get totally overwhelmed. If you're anything like me, the first minute or two is rough, then smooth-sailing from there..i hope you go..and that you have fun :)

Hey Hollie,

I think Maggie is right. In fact, I know it will be fine. You owe it to yourself to enjoy these times. Besides, you ought to be proud of yourself. I have had friends who simply backed away from situations that they deemed to difficult to handle. Myself would be included with them. It wasn't till later on did I realize that I never gained anything by backing off of social situations due to my fear. With this, start as of today to move forward by having the best time that you possibly can have. Test yourself each time, do one thing that you normally would fear to do. Then, when you conquer that, build upon it. Let us know how it goes.

Take care, stay strong, and have fun!!!

whoa..awesome hollie!! I'm really glad you went..and had fun. Sure beats not going..and giving yourself a chance..I really think that shows that despite how scared shitless we can be to go out and do something..we can still push ourselves, get past it..and have fun
