Offensive Reputation Messages

i just want to know how many 'points' or whatever i gotta get before my rep power goes up from 1! i mean, i got 24 of those point things... how many until i get more power?! hahaha :D

and also.. the thing about it making you "spread more rep" before you give someone more good/bad rep.. i forget the last time i even "rep'd" some people and it still won't let me show them any love! haha! =/

I went up to 2 after 30 points methinx.

When you're on 'home' if you look under your avatar is tells you your rep power.

ETA I don't actually know what the rep power means, but since Pookah has twice my awesomeness, she must be right. *nods*

Rep power is the amount of reputation you will either give or take away depending on whether you give positive or negative rep. A rep power of 1 means you give 1 reputation point for every positive rep and take one for every negative rep.

The only factor that increases rep power is length of time as a registered member. New members start with 0, meaning they give and take nothing. After a short time it goes up to 1. After one year it goes up to 2 and so on.

When I was moderator at a forum, we also had this system. However it was removed because we got a lot of complaints about it from the users. It is quite easy to remove, but you need admin rights to do it.

Yup the mods asked for it to be removed by the webmaster

still wating..........

if anyone uses it to snipe or insult others it will be treated just like any offence
