My trip to Berlin

Hello Peeps,

It has been a while since my last post on this forum, I hope everyone is doing well and better.

I am flying to Berlin tomorrow afternoon, and quite frankly except some few monuments and dishes that I intend to try out, I have no idea what to do, especially in a country known for its beers, pork sausages and pornographic movies industry, I don't do any of these three.

Any ideas?

I actually think the beer and porn sounds good. I mean.. why not enjoy life while you have the chance?

In any event, I've found when I don't want beer, porn is a decent substitute. :thumbup:

I don't look at porn these days. Perhaps i should start again? (as there does seem a yin-type hole in my life). :question:
I like sausages, very tasty, but i haven't seen them in cans, and i only eat canned stuff. :sad:

Do you enjoy history? Berlin is steeped in it, especially if you enjoy hearing things about WW2.

Hello guys, so good to hear from all of you:

I am not really fond of the WW2, but I definitely intend to visit the Reichstag tomorrow.
Had the occasion to visit the Berlin wall memorial, and some main squares (Alexanderplatz, Potsdamplatz, Gendarmenmarkt )

Potsdamplatz had some Hollywood looking avenue with German stars, the Sony center, and oddly enough a Korean structure, like a small temple, my first reaction when seeing it was telling myself "shiba lomi!"

I had a friend who went to Germany often and she always visited the castles there. I would love to see some real life castles! That always sounded so fun and mysterious.

The closest thing in Berlin to a castle is the Charlottenburg palace I suppose, not as popular among tourists though.

Strangely enough, I live at 5 minutes from the Versailles palace, yet I never visited it inside.
