music and social settings

Who finds music in places like shops and malls, even peoples homes makes you even more uncomfortable, just another stimulus to freak you out more.

For me usually anything poppish or hip hop and especially dance/techno.
Bizzarely enough heavy metal and classical calms

You know, this is the crap I HATE. Hearing 'pop' music everywhere I go doesn't make me uncomfortable just makes me puke. These people who sell their music and possess you to buy these things to stick in your goddamn ear like some brainwashed freek are the same ones that will suck your blood, your $$ out of you and your brain in the end cuz you will just be some walking dancing, imitating freak of a being with no soul ....

When an SA person approves of it, you gotta just wonder, WTF??!!!!

I usually turn the music up if I'm driving someone somewhere to avoid having to talk. I find also if I sing or hum along quietly to myself so no-one else can hear, it calms me down a bit

I think it just depends on the music. Certain types of music drive me crazy and make me more edgy and agitated such as Britney Spears or any kind of mainstream pre-packaged "pop". If Pink Floyd is playing though...different story. It depends, I love music, but I can't stand radio-friendly, trendy, synthetic music. It eats away at my brain cells.
