    Thanks for your advice. I used to eat lot of yoghurt and buttermilk, but felt it makes the acidity worse because it´s sour. Milk is somewhat better but best is no milk I guess. As for fruit, I´m eating only what you said - melons, bananas and any fruit which is not sour. I don´t eat citrus fruit anymore and am carefull with berries or apples etc. You´re talking about cooling the body, but I think I am cool enough, ha ha, I would rather need to warm it up.
    Striker, thanks for your advice. Fruits and milk, that´s what I eat most btw., but find it makes my acidity worse, esp. if taken together. I hardly support anything so I have hard time finding what I should eat. I used to be vegetarian and eat all supposedly healthy stuff - fruit, vegetable, wholegrain.. but I still had the problems. Now recently I found that the only thing which doesn´t cause me pain is chocolate or chocolate bisquits :/.

    not yet layed my hands on that book you suggested, but have looked up some info online. can you tell me how someone would go about becoming less vata??? is it a change in lifestyle & eating habbits? what would this include?
