  • Ha small world, I'm a manc! Best place in the world to learn engineering!
I like cooking italian, british and eatern food. I used to work here: Tampopo Restaurant - Fresh Eastern cooking, Quality Asian food, Healthy cuisine at Albert square, The Triangle and the Trafford center. nom nom nom
I'm off work due to a serious accident at the mo, I'd like to go back the cheffing though. As for electronics, I cannot see any future in servicing, unless they close the slave workshops and create quality equipment again. Where are you studying your degree?
I started my engineering apprenticeship at the (legendary) General Electric Company in Trafford park. Generations of my family had worked there. All top engineers. My uncle was a lecturer in Mech Engineering at Salford Uni. Very sad now that it's all gone :(

My other uncle worked as chief engineer on oil rigs in the north sea and saudi
I was an electronics service engineer (HND, RTEEB) for 16 years. It got tedious lol. Besides, everything servicable became throwaway price by 2000. The service industry died! I went into catering as a chef and enjoyed that immensely :) I also worked with a Mech engineer with a Masters degree, a medical technician, a Doctor of philosophy and a helicopter pilot, who also changed careers lol
Lol. Yeah, it does look a little weird because it's so small. The original size looks better. >>> Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting
