I'll admit that the clip was quite inspiring, but people don't hate you if you can back up a physical handicap with terriffic social skills. What I want is hindered by the way my brain is hardwired.

That was a beautiful video! Thank you so much for adding it up here. I hope it helps some people round here to be inspired to change their own thought patterns, to let some positivity in. To realise that circumstance isn't the end-all to our future life and happiness. We can take steps to change ourselves for the better today, and it starts from within. I could cry, that was a really sweet vid, and I so appreciate you sharing it :]

He's right though. What am I doing sitting here complaining about what I don't have. I haven't been out of my house-area (and porch) for like a week but i'm walking to the store to buy some freaking bananas!

This video made me cry. Yes, it's because I'm ****ing lame. Though, there are certain circumstances in my life that lead me to feel worse than I did before I watched this video. Not to mention I feel even worse because I'm complaining when there are people worse off.

No worries hun, I cried watching this as well. Thank gosh I was alone ::eek::
Thank you for posting the video because it was incredibly inspiring. It certainly reaffirms my faith in myself and what I'm capable of as it should do for a lot of you. Felgen, I understand that overcoming something like SA and all is hard but do you not realize that he could have become the same way, if not with more justification than most of us would have if he did. You're only as weak as you allow yourself to be I believe and if you have a defeatist attitude you'll get nowhere because you don't want to go anywhere.

Nice clip. The guy is amazing. I like the sentence:" Its a lie to think that u r not good enough"

I understand what u say. There are still stigmas surrounding mental illness. U may see people treat a physical handicap and a person with mental illness differnently. While most people are willing to help a physical handicapped person, they may be afraid of and stay away from people with mental illness. Because to them, people with mental illness may appear dangerous. And like u say, a physical handicap with a healthy head can do many things than a person with mentall illness. Because the brain controls everything, once it has problem its hard to do anything.
But it doesnt mean we cannot do anything. I believe that we can.

Thank you for posting this video. It made me cry too. He's so damn right too. There is a young girl around where I live, I just read this in the newspaper the other day, and she just had to get both her arms and both of her legs amputated because of a disease she has. And it's just like... why the hell am I always sitting around feeling sorry for myself when people are worse off? I don't know, things like this just really help to put things into perspective and make me think that I should just stop feeling bad about myself every waking hour of the day. Thanks again for posting this video!

My situation isn't that bad, I rather have zero social skills but all my limbs intact. This guy sure knows how to appreciate life with what he has, we should do the same. This guy must have fight like crazy. He is handicap physically but he found a solution we are handicap mentally or socially but we can find a solution as well.
