Life is hard

Life is hard.

So says everyone.

Yet they all have children.

What's the coherence behind this?

Isn't life supposed to be mostly enjoyable?

If not, what's the point of us all being in this world?

How can you find life hard and want that for your children?

(PS. No need to reply in Christmas-tree fashion, but kudos to you if you do.)

people have children to give their own lives purpose and meaning..also, they always say they will give their kids a 'better' life than the one they had growing up...whether that is true i have no clue..

ill never have kids though..

Hard
doesn't
mean it's
not also, at
least sometimes
enjoyable. Life is a fruit
cake with plenty of cherries to find

People
have children
to bring sunshine and
love into a sad lonely place.
My children are my joy, sometimes
my only joy, and if it wasn't for them I
would give up completely. If I have anything
to do with it, I will walk them through it up until I
can walk no more. By then, if all works out, they will have
children of
their own
to walk with them.
