kissing disease?

Mwah Mwah

Mono? I've had that before. It's usually among younger people, plus it's mostly just lame and not that big of a deal. You can get it other ways too, I know I didn't get it from kissing anyone. Ignore it.

Mono is all i've heard of. I got that one time and it wasn't all that bad. I was exhausted every second of the day but I like to sleep. :D

So as if us social phobics needed more anxiety, apparently there is a disease that mainly spreads by kissing. So if I am somehow in a situation where I can kiss someone, I'll be worrying about getting sick over it.

Mononucleosis is the "kissing disease" that most people talk about. It is much more common in young people, but it is not near serious enough to deter you from kissing anyone, even if you are a young person!

Dont worry about it buddy. Try to not think about it. If you think about these things all the time, it will just be much worse for you

you can get mono from sharing drinks. it just makes you very, very sleepy for a couple of days. you don't even really feel sick- just sleepy. it's kind of funny actually. the flu is a million times worse.

Don't kiss people with hundreds of huge red spots all over their body, you could get chickenpox.

you know what.. i had chicken pox twice! wtf is up with that?!

...and mono isn't really a disease, it's not a big deal, don't fret :) making out is way worth it, lmao... and i'm the make out bandit and i've never even had mono! ha!!

just make sure there is no herpes involved... herpes is for life, bro.

I always make sure not to share drinks with anyone or kiss suspicious people, I don't want my virgin lips raped with herpes.

I don't like kissing much...

I think the dangers of casual kissing are quite known (or was it just because I did a paper on STDs in high school??)
You could always do the Julia Roberts thing.. (from Pretty Woman, and just not kiss.. :D)

It is much better to know the person well and know their health condition/s too..
I got ginigivitis, not sure if from kissing or a white filling gone wrong, or my Dad-?? (Many people have gingivitis anyway, and where I live eating from one common salad bowl is the norm in families.. so..?)

If you are worried about kissing, also make sure to eat from own plate and not from the same bowls or drink from the same glasses/bottles..
I was sort of ridiculed for not eating with the same spoon as a friend (I knew of her health problems! /sigh/) and my Dad thinks my insisting to use my own toothbrush odd-?? /rolls eyes/
People just have different standards sometimes... (or like to mess with you..) In China, people still spit on the floor .. on buses even!!

In a way, we are often surrounded by germs and it's important to have a healthy immune system, so it may be more productive to work on that... And just be selective in kissing partner/s..
