We have got find a way to supress these stupid irrational fears! I have come up with some ideas: We can use logic, or, we can put up a wall of anger. For example, we get mad about having this ****ing problem, and we need to use our anger on our anxiety. We need to get into the mindset of: "Why the **** am i worrying about such stupid ****?? NOBODY gives a damn about what i'm doin! It's messing up my life and i REFUSE to let it control me anymore!" I mean, don't just go off every time you panic or something. But Social Anxiety is truly ridiculous. We are just too weak to overcome it. We keep thinkin that it has got the best of us. Most of us on here are really intelligent. We ARE capable of thinking and focusing when we are alone, so what is the damn difference in front of other people?? We can do so much with our lives, and we say it's not fair for us, but we are the ones who continue to let it lead us in the direction we don't wanna go! I hope i have gave you all some decent advice, and i hope this helps. Of course, this is just my opinion of it. Just don't let anymore time pass before you get to where you need to be. Do it now! The sooner, the better. :)

No anger! Anger can help you sometimes, but it is a negative emotion and it tends to scare people away. Logic kind of helps, but anxiety has an annoying habit of ignoring my logic. What has helped me the most is fighting the anxiety with positive feelings. Laughing at it. "Seriously? Am I scared of THIS??? Hahaha!" :D Generally, trying to be more positive has helped me a lot. Let's not be angry, let's be (or make ourselves) happy!

You are a breath of fresh air.

The only thing I disagree with is "We are just too weak to overcome it". That is not true - the cause is an imbalance in biochemistry. Since that is physical there is no need to put oneself down.

no anger doesn't work, because you would become angry at your self and that's not good, you got to tell yourself that those thoughts are not your thoughts, the anxiety is lying to you and not true, you just have to say that these are false thoughts and they will go away, this helped me sometimes

All emotions are fine - they all serve a purpose.

I struggle with this daily, but if you feel an emotion coming on just reevaluate what's really going on and use that energy in a positive light.

I see passive aggresiveness as a tool to get somewhere with other people.Though they will most likely not get what you're trying to say because most people can't even begin to grasp the aspects of our lives

I like the attitude :D. The same exact idea hit me round 4-5 years ago, and then things gradually move along from there. That mentality will take u far in life :D Size the day or you'll die regretting

I wished SA is the only thing or even just half or even a third of the thing troubling me. I'm afraid SA usually brings with it friends. But you're right though. It's a matter of breaking habits and thought patterns.
