Issues with logging in

I've tried Chrome and IE10, but for some reason, I keep getting logged out as soon as I log in, and then I click on a link at the bottom of the page and I appear to be logged in, hence why I'm able to type this.

I dunno what's going on. Maybe I just need to click a link after I log in or something.

Are you sure you keep getting logged out? I know whenever I log in, it automatically brings me to the "Thank you for logging in" page and then right back to SPW, where it appears I'm not logged in. I just click at the web title at the top to refresh the page and it shows I'm logged in. I'm using Chrome, by the way.

I have a problem when I log in with remember me box it works but when I don't it doesn't log in. Idk it logged in today and the chat bar showed up without the remember me check thingy but after that it doesn't show when I logged in for the third or fourth time.

Well, I stay logged in. But on the home screen of these forums, the website tells me I'm logged out, while I'm not. It's just a display error.

If this website would have confident information or something that would be unacceptable, since it would let people believe that they'd be logged out and save and everything, while they are not.

Do you know how to delete cache and cookies on IE? What would happen if I delete the cookies?

Click on the gears under the X button, then "Internet Options", then "Delete...", and choose "Cookies and website data".

It's usually recommended to delete those things from time to time. You won't lose anything important.

Bummer, it worked for me ):

Every time you go on a website your browser will store some files from it, which really pile up after a while. They take a lot of space and can slow down things (plus they can cause issues).

I would also recommend using another internet browser, like Firefox or Chrome. IE has a pretty bad reputation, though I think it has made progress recently. Maybe that will resolve your problem?

Bad reputation as in other browsers are better. All of these are free. I use Firefox.

All of these things are safe to delete. If you delete your history, you won't be able to look at what sites you were on in the past (some keep it, some delete it). I personally delete everything but my history.

Maybe I will try another browser, idk, I have motivation and procrastination issues.

How would I keep some history and delete some? Is it okay to delete the preserved favorite website data?

Thank you I'll see if it works and the mini chat works.

Ehm, when you deleted your cookies, was the "Preserve Favorites website data" checked? Because, if it was, maybe the cookies for socialphobiaworld weren't deleted?

You can set your history to keep only recent history, it should be in the options somewhere.
