Is this only happening to me or anyone else???

So I don't see my friends for ages on end about a few months so get a call to pop around pop around and the whole time they spend on there phone texting facebooking this always happens is this just me or anyone else

The whole world has gone mad. No, really.

Yes it is a mad bloody annoying world we live in today why invite someone around if there just gonna go on dating apps snapchat facebook and chat away and sent smiling face shoots ... What world are we living in where can't even sit down and have a chat ... I am born in the wrong year the future is killing us in some parts I have been on dates where a girl had 2phones on the go at the same time its like they can't live without there phones and need to update everything and read every update post I wish I was in the yr 1750-1960 be better than this being ignored while there chat there smiling typing away

If someone who was supposed to be my friend acted so disrespectfully towards me, I would drop them.

The problem isn't the modern world. I live in the same world you do. Either you're spending time with rude people, or you're doing something that discourages them from wanting to talk to you. I have no idea which.

if these people didn't like talking to me I think they would have stop being friends with me over the last 20yrs I'm sure there would have been many times to just walk away if they didn't want like talking to me


This world is a future where everyone holds there phones listening out to every beep to read the updates

unlike most people, i'm not attached to my phone like life support. i usually check to see if i have any messages or phone calls at least once a day, maybe a few more, but that's lots of hours in between. i've hung out with some people several years ago and they were rude, bein on their phone. if your phone is more interesting that who you're with, why not just sit in your room alone all day and let your phone completely consume you. it annoys me.
