my girlfriend... is out of town, and so now i don't have to worry about meeting her in the house in the morning when i come home from working my night shift.... I think this is avoidant.. personality disorder....... I'm brand new here. Are there discussions about Anneli Rufus' book "Party of One"?

Im 24 so i feel young
But when i see people that was in my year at high school
They aged so bad they look awful haha

We got some young ones here, and we also got some oldies. The general population of SPW however, I believe to be in their 20's. Though I am 16 myself .

Why do you want to avoid your girlfriend? What kind of fears do you have, of her being home when you get home?

Depends on your definition of "young". I'm 38. Happily, my definition of young happens to be "38 and under" so I'm still OK. Whew.

I'm 32, but almost everyone thinks I'm 19 or 20 when they meet me. A while ago I was getting my hair cut and the lady cutting my hair asked me what high school I go to...

Because she's a person... I love her but I don't always like to talk and not everyone understands that...

I'm 55. She's 62. It doesn't go away with age.

It's also not avoidance personality disorder or schizoid.
