What impression do you think you give to people who don't understand what we are going through?

Probably snobby, weird, boring. Why do people also think that shy quiet people are naive and gullible? I am far from these things.

I'm sure that I come across as snobby and rude because I don't talk much.
I know that i'm not though, and people who really know me know this too.
I still don't like people jumping to that conclusion though :/

unsociable.

I think people find it strange and some find it amusing or annoying to see someone so bothered by people around them and in mundane situations.

People just dont know how to react around you because your so messed up and dont know how to react around them they dont know how to take you :(

If you dont correct people they can only see you as what you give out.
If you think your weird they will think your weird :(

I think ppl think that you're disinterested in them and don't like them which leads to them not bothering with you. It's such a shame, but in my experience ppl keep on trying with me and after a while they give up on me. The ppl who know I have SA keep telling me I need to make more of an effort, well they used to, it seems they have given up on me too. When I do get out there and make an effort all I want is to be alone and when I am alone all I want is to be with ppl, however hard it may be. :(

boring, un-interested in them, snobby...
people also assume that you have no personality because you are shy which really miffs me off big time.
People think that only loud, gobby, in-your-face people have a personality...twats

I met some new people the other day, i was stuttering sometimes when i spoke and it was sooo hard to introduce myself to them. Eventually most of them introduced themseleves and that made it a little easyer. But i'm afraid i came off as a prick or just really werid.

I mostly feel weird in front of girls. I am so awkward with girls, and I feel stupid.

People think I'm stupid, weird, rude, stuckup, or retarded.
I don't even have to open my mouth, its obvious the way their eyes seem to cloud over and look at me like they are frightened i might hurt them...like I'm a creepy killer, I'm not a serial killer though, its very hurtful

*hides bodies when no-one looking* :p

Don't get me started there bro. If a girl talkes yo me, i will screw up somehow and say something stupid. an week or evem months after i'll be thinking about what an idiot i made myself out to be.

First time people meet me, they think I'm boring, arrogant, and mean. But later when I start talking, they can see that I'm the opposite: passive, pushover, nervous.

It bugs me when people can see right through you! sometimes they even give you this look that doesn't look away, and you can tell what they mean.

I'm sure people see me as being snobby and boring. I've had people tell me these things before, and it really hurts when you hear them. Actually, it hurts just thinking about them.
