Hello, I have never been able to connect my multimeter to read the current (mA) no matter how many settings I have tried. I am including a picture of my multimeter, and hopefully someone will be able to explain how I am to use my multimeter to read current. This will be appreciated greatly, I cannot even express how much I need this!

THANK YOU!

Current flows in a loop from the + or positive terminal to the - or negative terminal of the battery/ionto machine. You need to break that loop and insert the multmeter in the loop as shown below. Also the meter should be set to 20m when less than 20 mA or to 200m when less then 200 mA in the section outlined in green that contains the A for amps. Hope this helps. If this does not work then you might have a blown fuse in your meter. You will have to take it apart and replace it.

The ----- are wires.

Normal
[pos terminal]-------------------[PAN]~[YOU]~[PAN]----------------[neg terminal]

Meter inserted
[pos terminal]------[red VmA meter terminal][black Vma meter terminal]-----[PAN]~[YOU]~[PAN]----------------[neg terminal]

connect the multimeter in series in the circle of your homemade iontophoresis device.
and then turn the knob to 'DC 20mA' or higher setting
