think about others.
hang out with friends and people you like as much as possible.
don't label yourself, we are all basically the same anyway.
don't dwell on your shortcomings, what are you good at? (everyone has something, even if it's just being there for someone else, helping somebody out)
take it easy.
talk to friends.
have fun whenever possible.
find something funny on tv. (i like the simpsons)
stop talking about your problems and listen to other peoples.
don't hang out with negative people, hang out with peaceful nice people.

i hope this helped people :)

Good idea appletree - here are some of mine :)

* think of 3 things you're thankful for every day. could be small things, like that you have a warm bed to sleep in, or had something to eat, or you got to read part of a good book.
* try to get at least some aerobic exercise, even if it's just standing in place and touching your toes for 5 minutes.
* get some sunlight or bright light if possible
* try to clean up and organize your messy house a bit (at least for me, my mind seems a lot calmer in an organized environment than a messy one. i've started putting all my clutter in fileboxes and putting them in a closet so i don't even have to look at it - out of sight = out of mind)

think about others.
Simple enough.
hang out with friends and people you like as much as possible.
Don't have friends; would otherwise be extremely awkward trying to hang out with people I barely know.
don't label yourself, we are all basically the same anyway.
Pretty reasonable.
don't dwell on your shortcomings, what are you good at? (everyone has something, even if it's just being there for someone else, helping somebody out)
I'm good at some things but even better at things which are deemed nonproductive. I guess that's my way of sticking it to the socially accepted goals :)
take it easy.
Roger.
talk to friends.
Negative.
have fun whenever possible.
May get a bit repetitive.
find something funny on tv. (i like the simpsons)
I don't consider watching TV useful these days. Time can probably be better spent.
stop talking about your problems and listen to other peoples.
Agreed.
don't hang out with negative people, hang out with peaceful nice people.
As opposed to aggressive nice people? ::p:

I don't know dude, I understand the "t.v. is full of crap" thing, but considering you are a person that doesnt really interact with others having some distractions can be really useful. I like watching funny stuff, not actually on t.v. but on the internet or buying movies.

What I mean is that you are not really wasting your time if you just sit and enjoy some simple activity
