how many friends do you have?

Depends what you mean by friend. If you mean someone you can talk to when you're having a tough time, then I have 1 online friend but we only talk once a month or so. I can sometimes talk to my mum too, but it's quite rare these days.

do online friends count? seen conflicting opinions on this, some count them as friends, others dismiss them and say that online only friends are not "real" friends.

I speak to my immediate family. I have one "friend" but we only meet every year or so. I'm doing a course and I speak to a couple of people there. I would say that one is my friend even though I have only known him 3 months and that he stood me the only time we had arranged to go out.

I have my cousin but i think he is only friends with me when it suits him, as for making friends i have concluded, i cant, people are never seem to want to see who i am inside, they keep me at a arms length. I have so much love to offer but no one wants it, this makes me feel worthless

Hie yer hence from me heath!
In real life? None whatsoever.

It's a lot harder tae make friends when yer physically disabled, at least, in ma experience it is anyway. Any "friends" ah make tend tae find me borin' an' forget aboot me efter awhile.

I don't really have any friends, but I kind of gotten used to it.

i identify with this since i've no real life friends, and i consider the definition of friend to be someone i talk to and/or hang out with every now and then (or more). there's a family of neighbors that i consider friends still but they live elsewhere and we don't talk unless they're coming close to visiting. i've a good many acquaintances, mostly friends of my mom and grandad. my best friend is online-very happy to have him :)
i've been used to not having friends and not hanging out with people someplace but it hasn't stopped me from wanting that still. every now and then i think about it and get lonely :\ but that's how life goes ._.

Depends on your definition of "friend". I feel I have far more acquaintances than real friends. I can go out and run into a bunch of people I know but there are very few people I trust. For instance only like four of my friends know about my anxiety and depression.

I just befriended you.

I have two really good friends, both have social anxiety too. I also have two friends who have been drifting away for the last few years but I try to stay in touch and get together with them every couple months. All in all, I'm pretty happy with my friends :)

I just seem to have lots of acquaintances. The only people I really get close to are boyfriends, and given how they all give up on me after a while you can imagine how useless that it's lol

Talking about close friends, I have none of them; there are some people I usually go out with during the weekend, but we're not really friends (I get along with them, but we are too different to become friends).
