How do you deal with it?

Moving out alone, paying the rent and everything? No friends, no support.

How the hell do people do it? It seems sooo difficult.

it only means youre independent.... tada! welcome to reality and a thing called life...LOL!

i also experienced that though..its not a bad thing... i felt quite good because i have proven to myself that i can live alone with all of this bills and stuff around me....

always look for the brightside.....

These are exactly my fears !!!

Im 27 and been living with my parents for sometime. Ive only had a rare 4 months a couple of years ago where i actually moved out, but that was with someone. It didnt go very well, hence i had to move back home again.

I am so fed up with the lack of independence at home. I have a co dependent relationship with my mother and it drives me nuts. What i would give for just my own space and own structured life. Its just being able to afford it and being able to cope.

I'm 19, and the thought of moving out on my own has been in the back of my mind for some time now.

But first... I need a job. I'm looking for one where I could be alone - maybe like a package handler.

It can be scary I guess but for every bad thing, there are also good things :) Paying the rent and bills, can actualy give you a really nice sence of satisfaction. It's nice to keep on top of your bills and know your secure in your own place.

I had to get my own place when my parents seperated, but it turned out to be a good thing.I do get lonley sometimes, but I couldnt imagine having to live in someone elses house again.

Ahh, moving out. Scary sh*t but you have to look at the positive. You're out on your own and you're making it. That's hard but you did it. It'll get easier once you get use to it.

What do you people mean with "moving out"? Just renting your own room somewhere in a sharehouse or, if you are financially lucky, your own appartment/flat? Or even buy your own? In case you're renting, you need to get a secure job, what are you going to do if you're fired, how are you going to pay your rent? I used to live in rented rooms before, but these were very substandard (to say the least), and it was the most I could afford. Plus of course you cannot call this your home and live like this forever, that's why I always end up at home at my parent's, because I don't have money to buy my own place.
