So recently I have been bored during the day and night. I don't do the things I use to do due to anxiety, fear of the unknown, low motivation, and fear. But what I was doing before and what I'm going to do is not recommended so idk what to do for activities that take up most of the day. Keep in mind that I tried drawing and coloring today. Any advice on what I should do?

Gaming? Play metal music? Maybe both together?
Go for walk every day? (20-30 mins or longer).
These will use up some of the time anyway.

I do play video games occasionally but it not recommended to not have too much screen time a day. I play music but that doesn't take up the whole day. I'll try to take a walk everyday but that also doesn't take up the whole day. Thanks for the advice.

Setting a goal to a sport. Any kind of sport: football, table tennis, swimming, etc or going to gym. Your body will pump adrenaline even for 1 hour and your anxiety go away.

Try to seek medical support if you anxiety doesn't go away. Come again here after 1-2 months and tell us how you feel.

but it helps from getting too bored and I like to learn stuff there too.

I'd say this one is a really good one but i've joined a gym before and i just felt either bored or unmotivated, they didn't have the machines i'd like and i fear other things so i don't get a lot of fresh air unless i go out w/ my family but this thread would be helpful to me too

If you feel anxious on gym then you can pick another outdoor sport. It can be one that you can practice alone or with your family.

Just find the one that motivates you daily to go out. Depending on your age, at first it doesn't have to be for performance. It is only for setting a higher purpose but after that if you can go further then it's your motivation.

At first you will be demotivated but do whatever you can do to pass at least 21 days doing that sport. Usually after 21 days that thing becomes a habit and this is good.

You mean setting a goal or doing a sport?

Well I'm not motivated enough, anxious, and I want to work on myself before I join a sport. I think I could do exercise by myself though. But even then I'm not motivated enough but I'll try.

I seek medical support already. Thank you for the advice.

Haha, I use to go on YT a lot but like I said my anxiety, fear of the unknown, not wanting to feel inferior, and fear holds me back . Plus it isn't recommended to get that much screen time a day.

Yes, the tricky part is how to fill ALL the hours of the day, not just some. I tend to flick between the few activities i do all throughout the day, to keep them "fresh". I flick when something is become boring/etc (ie when my mood starts to drop). I'm trying to increase the number of different activities i have in my "master list" so to speak; the theory is, the more different activities/options you have, the less likelihood of being bored.

I mean doing sport and after that setting a goal in that sport. In the first days you will be demotivated at all but you must continue for that long the sport you are practicing.

After 1-2 month you have to set a goal but not sooner.

And after all you must seek professional medical advice.
