How are you feeling?

You mentioned before that you are anxious about your impending fatherhood. That is the type of thing you could ask your parents for advise on. Are you able to ask them?

Sadly, no. There's not that level of relationship to do so. There's so much responsibility in terms of organising things that I don't know where to start.

My mom got some fantastic news today about something that was really worrying her, so I feel great.

My neice is a judgemental/rejecting little bitch. She TOTALLY IGNORES my TXTs to her. Well F*CK her then. She may as well be DEAD to me!!! :veryangry:

Sent a few NASTY TXTs to her (she might have blocked me already & so not read them), along the lines of above. Thought i might "seal the deal", "put the nail in the coffin", "make it official" that i want nothing to do with her for the entire rest of my life.

STUCK between a rock & a hard place, yes? LOL.

Either way, people seriously frustrate me, and that's not a good thing for a hermit. FML. :kickingmyself:

2 rejections in one night.
My neice, & a flat i applied for. I rang her twice. Still don't know WHY she didn't want me in her flat - there must have been sth about me that she disliked???. On the 2nd call, she said 'what's your issue?'.

Rejection's a B*TCH, plain & simple. It KILLS you.

I put off taking medicstion for about 15 years. I don't like being on it but it has taken the edge off, and I am doing things this year were last year impossible. This time last I took a month off with sick leave.

I'm sorry that the option of asking your parents is not available for you, SilentAndShy.
When I have a huge load of things to get done in a week, I make a random list of all the tasks I need to get done.
Then I place a number next to each task in the order of their necessity to be done - starting from 1. for the task that must be done first, then work work your way onwards until all the tasks are numbered in order of priority.
Then, ONLY concentrate on completing one task at a time, in the order you have given them.
Good luck.

You want to know how I got these scars?

I don't like the thought of taking meds either. I've tried them before without much benefit. But I'm almost at the point where I think I need to try anti depressants again.

Sometimes my stupidity gets the better o’ me. I wish I had someone to keep me right instead of this feckin’ daft notion that I know everythin’. Which my family seem convinced of cuz I’ve read more than one book... :eek:mg:

What else... Oh aye! It’d be nice to actually say “No” to being asked to do something if I don’t think it’s worth my time, and not get made to feel like I’m being a c*nt.

Also, I think my mother’s health is going rapidly decline by the end of this year, going into next. Cuz she’s still refusing to take all of her daily medications. Just picking and choosing... as well as refusing to do her exercises. Cuz whinging about yer joint pain is so much better than taking steps to reduce it, isn’t it?

Yep, neither did I, very reluctantly. Last year got so bad I needed to take meds. Took some argiung from the pyschologist but I did it.

I guess I needed them most for anxiety, and a low dose helps. My depression has never got above moderate.

When you ask her why, what does she say? That she's just lazy? Or so you need to stick around to look after her?

Was drinking this morning & afternoon, to "brace" myself for some work that needed doing, but my guy didn't turn up! (well he did, but it was too late). So now it's early night, and yes, i'm having another drink, and listening (& singing aloud to) to this:

GOt home from work to find a package I bought on eBay of a new charger cord for my Macbook that was very much needed. Couldn't believe how fast it had come since I only bought it a few days ago. Then I realise it doesnt fit my macbook cord hole and then the whole plug came apart. Thats a whole $23 down the drain. Cant even write an honest negative review til 7 days. Why do people sell fake things.
