Thanks, I'm proud of myself as well. Proud I actually went through with ma appointment, and not cancel at the last minute. But total knackered, exausted. Though, I agree with you, that patients with shy people goes a long way. It's just, where do I go from here? Given that my SA is quite severe.

I feel pretty crappy. Trying to study for my test tonight, I can't find anything I've looked for today, and I don't know how I'm going to pay my tuition for the summer class (especially since I won't be working at my second job until next month).

Aw, thanks, mate. ::eek:: I think I'll basically approaching my overcoming SA, in much the same way I did when I was first learning to play the guitar. Take it slowly, don't think it'll be easy because it's not gonnae be perfect at first, but just keep practising.

I'm feeling okay, trying to fight my SA and be a little social at college, which is somewhat working, I still have a long way to go though. On the other hand, I'm having a crappy time with my roommate, maybe its me though.
I hope all of you are doing well.
Oh no, Srijita! ::(: Give it a little time - you're still adjusting to a lot of new things. When I went away to college, I shared part of a suite with two girls who couldn't have been more different than me. But, I ended up becoming great friends with one of them, so you just never know! It will get better! :)

Your definitely right, Mikey. Thanks for your perspective. I hope to actually see it that way soon. I don't really know why I'm feeling this way. Just, everything feels pointless. Thanks again, Mikey. I really do appreciate the time you take to respond and be as kind as you are. ^.^
I hope you can, too. You're most welcome. :)

Aww Mikey, I hope that made you feel better, get swell.
I hope you two feel better soon guys.
I hope you both feel better soon. Hang in there.
Thanks, guys and girls. I'll be alright eventually. Just need to mentally sort out a thing or two.

Ah, yes, college. What's wrong with your roommate? Maybe you just need to get to know each other a little more first. Fingers crossed it ends up working out!

Depressed. ALl the girls that are compatible with me, do not what me.
Sorry, man. That's always a bad thought.

Guitar lessons? Eh, I've tried to teach in the past when I was 16 with a couple school mates in secondary school, and failed miserably. Basically, I was trying to simplify something which both my friends had no idea about.

(Permission tae rant? F**k it! I'm going tae, anyway...)

They just thought "Hey, that sounds easy! How'd you play it?". Like it's that easy. If anyone just starting to learn the electric guitar expects to be able to play something like Enter Sandman by Metallica on the basis that it "sounds easy to play", eh, sorry but (drumroll)... That's flawed logic! Unless, you can't learn quickly. Or have a real desire to actually play the guitar (ie, being obsessed by it, practising in your spare time as often as you can).

Playing the electric guitar is about more than playing basic chord shapes & strumming patterns. There's techique and having coordination between your right and left hand. Not mention, know how to guitar tablature so you know what string & fret you've to play on. Then there's muscle memory, so you can remember where your fingers are on the fretboard & play stuff without looking all the time. And if you think going right into it without knowing, at least, some basic chords and stumming pattern - you'll not advance as player unless you know the basics. You ain't gonna learn how to swim, jumpin' in at the deep end, are ya?

Oh, I'm not sure about teaching the guitar. But I'd definitely be up for jamming with anyone on guitar. Though, I'm not a great lead guitarist, probably need to get back to actually one on one, or group before I become more advanced & confident about guitars. That said, I can improvise some pretty cool guitar riffs. :D

:D Had tae be said - as someone who been playing guitar for nearly 10 years now! Can't learn an musical instrument without a passion fur it! I mean, it aw well and good having a love of music. But learn to play any instrument is whole nother level!

I'm feeling anxious. :( I don't have a very good relationship with food... My husband is currently encouraging me to eat more, since I usually eat little... To be honest, I struggle to consume the calorie target he's set... I feel full at the moment and just the feeling of being full is making me feel ill and anxious... Seriously! My chest feels tight and I have a horrible "electricity" like feeling flowing through my head. Ugh! I know it will pass... But until it does... :(
