How are you feeling?

I'm feeling sick and worthless atm. Why am I so stupid?

I feel like that a lot. You are not worthless, if it's anyone, it's me. You have much more then I do, I'm sure.

"Doctor Jones, Jones, calling Doctor Jones, Doctor. Jones, Doctor Jones wake up now (wake up now)"...

Came back from a retirement function. It was alright. Sat on my own for most of the night while everyone else was chatting away so that was a little bit awkward but I did get to mingle after the impossibly-long speeches were done. Had a few beers and spirits so I'm feeling a little bloated right now. Night started poor but ended a bit better so I'm trying to see the positives rather than dwell on the negatives.

Hie yer hence from me heath!
I think my inability to say "No" is going to be the death of me. Always putting other people's happiness ahead of my own.

I felt a little awkward at my party as well today. But I agree, no use dwelling on the negative. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better.

I've found that saying: "What is in it for me?" helps a lot. Don't be upset, just say it with a smile, and occasionally you will be surprised what comes back.

It was just a party my friend was throwing for her friends. It was okay besides I acted like a complete idiot at times, I always to that when I'm nervous though. ;)
Oh, that's okay. Despite being nervous, I'm glad it was okay for you. I was nervous before my thing tonight but still acted okay.

I'm in a dilemma, I found out that the annual musical event in my town have started. I promised myself that I would go to it, it might be the last time or a very long time until I can attend it again.

I'm nervous about going to it though, one of the reasons are that I fear that someone from school will be there and I might have to say what I've been doing since school. Not to mention that the number of people there feels intimidating and overall annoying.

I was thinking about calling the only real friend I have, we were supposed to have our annual meeting some time now anyways, and ask him if we should go to this event/festival. I have no idea what he thinks of it, or how it will be if I will meet someone from school with him accompanied. I feel a bit "exhausted" from the mere thought of calling him, arranging the meeting and then go down to this thing. Will it be easier meeting him some other time, going by myself, not going at all?

I think you should call him and give it a try. Maybe you'll have a good time. Good luck.

^ I find that the more you dwell on trying to do something you're afraid of makes it all the worse. Just take the plunge and do it, no second thoughts allowed. I know it's hard, but you'll feel so relieved once you finally do it.

And yes, I think you should go. This event sounds like fun, despite all those people there. You did mention it might be your last time, so why not go and have a blast? Good luck to you, and have fun!
