Hi,
I'm a guy, 'over 40', of few words and am comfortable with having few friends (if any!). I dunno what label is appropriate to me as I don't really care too much for labels, but Ive been called shy, unsociable, introverted, and probably a lot worse lol. But the bottom line is I'm much happier away from the crowds.
I came across this site just a couple days ago when I had a bad experience with a social group who were just awful with me, for no apparent reason other than they all knew each other and I was an outsider, even though I was an invited guest! I imagine the host who is a nice person was probably horrified at the other peoples' behavior. When I got home feeling very low I started googling for reasons why they might have behaved like that. I think I concluded they were a**holes. lol.
Anyway along the way I got reading a few posts here, got intrigued and thought these are an interesting bunch, better company than the idiots I wasted an evening with last week.
