Since HH is occurs more frequently in females, jews, asians, and japanese, I am curious to see how many people here who have HH meet any one of these criteria.

Please take the poll

Demographics

Axillary (underarm) hyperhidrosis occurs more frequently in females and in individuals of Asian or Jewish ancestry. Hyperhidrosis of the hands and feet occurs 20 times more frequently in the Japanese. Previously, it was thought that hyperhidrosis was rare, occurring in only 0.6–1 percent of adolescents and young adults; however, a national survey conducted in 2004 found that up to 2.8 percent of Americans (approximately 7.8 million individuals) may have hyperhidrosis.

Interesting...

I knew about the Asians though I've read several times that HH doesn't discriminate between gender...

Anyway, Male, 22, Roman Catholic, Caucasian, palmoplantar HH, European (Dutch).

I have heard about Jews and Asian from several ETS surgeons. In Taiwan, they have done over 30,000 ETS operations to date:

Some prominent surgeons in the US such as Dr. Reisfeld did surgeries in Israel in the past.
