I am a American with bi polar type 2 and have had social phobia for a long time. I have been through countless therapist and have little to no help. What help I have had I have had to do myself. I am literal a geeky person; I keep up with all technology, watch a lot of anime, and I love video games. I am a dreamer and a wisher and I will always be this way. My personality is an extrovert cover of an introvert who desperately wants to experience normal life outside my apartment. I talk to myself a lot and laugh at nothing because for so long I have had nobody to share my experiences with but myself. So I hope we can all get along.

Welcome to the forum, I can relate a lot to your post.
I'm very bipolar too (a lot of mood-swings), and I deal with very severe SA.
I like how you tell us; You're an extrovert covered by an introvert,
that's interesting thing to think about ^^.
Because a lot of SA people would like to build a social life,
but Social phobia holds you back, but maybe we are a lil extrovert deep inside,
because we really want to get out of this shell.

It's funny, because you are a lot like me, I love technology too,
I bet you love gadgets, don't you? I like anime too, what shows do you watch?
I like school life series with some comedy in it, to laugh :D
What game console do you play? I have a PS2 and PS1 and wii.
And of course the nintendo series, gbc, gba sp, DS.

I hope you will find a lot of people here to share experiences,
I wish u a good time on SPW, it's a nice place to hang out.

Hello Saskia I love gagdets old and new and own many gaming systems from ps1 all the way to this gen for consoles no hand helds sadly but I do love to play them . The anime I watch is school life, slice of life, battle, drama, romance, and comedies galore. I love one anime the most though and that would be Arakawa under the bridge. I know what you mean its hard to find an extrovert who is shy its weird what I mean is I'm so scared to be around lots of people that I just start talking without thinking and also start talking to myself in public. I use to be shy in high school but also not shy I would blurt things out in class all that good stuff the weird person does in class. The sad part is since I live in Indiana it doesn't see it as a problem just people here think I need to be locked up for good. Oh and Forgot to mention this and it really sways peoples opinion of me I am an Atheist. Being an Atheist has made my life kinda of hard but its not my fault that I figured out God is earth and Jesus is your own brain. Well thats the way I look at it anyways.

Welcome! :) I'm a bit of a geek myself. I'm not the biggest gamer, but I love computers and gadgets.
